Founded on the principles of quality craftsmanship and exceptional service, we pride ourselves on turning bold ideas into tangible, high-impact results. We understand that not every project is black and white—that’s why we thrive on bringing unique concepts to life through innovation, precision, and creativity.
From illuminated and non-illuminated signs to ADA-compliant solutions, monument signs, and everything in between, we seamlessly manage every aspect of design, manufacturing, and installation. Whether partnering with architectural firms, branding agencies, or design professionals, we’re passionate about helping clients achieve their vision; no matter the size or scope of the project.

About
Steve Fehrenbacher, Owner & Founder
Steve Fehrenbacher has had a love for signs since childhood. Growing up, he watched his father collect vintage beer and bar signs, always eager to see them lit up and proudly displayed. That early fascination stuck with him, eventually guiding his career path.
After moving to Colorado in 2013, Steve found his way into the sign industry around 2015 through an entry-level sales role. He was quickly thrown into the fire and, in just a few years, gained a wealth of hands-on knowledge across all areas of signage. In February 2019, he took the leap and launched Western Slope Signs, starting out with installation work for other companies before investing in his own production equipment. From there, the business took off.
With his blue-collar work ethic, customer-first mindset, and business degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Steve has grown Western Slope Signs into a trusted provider of custom signage throughout Colorado and beyond.
When he’s not building signs or running the business, you’ll likely find Steve spending time at home with his wife and two kids, or sneaking away to the local driving range.
